Like several other fine SG offerings, it seems to have spotty availability. When I'm flush and need to restock, I order Bracken Flake, 1792, Kendal Cream Flake and FVF by the pound, generally from smokingpipes.com or similar vendor. I rotate my 'smoking stock' in order of age, and have found the foil vacuum packs which SG ships last a good long time, though the aging process is negligible. If I truly desire it to be aged, I'll break open the packs and divide the contents into sealed mason jars for long term storage.Baccman":yklguofz said:Ahh, Kilted1, yes! Break gently for that Condor moment! I order it from James Barber and I since they won't take my credit card order, I have to place the order online, then they tell me what the cost will be, I then go to MY bank and transfer funds directly into THEIR bank account and they send it to me! WHEW!!! But I won't be stopped! I love it that much, both original long cut and ready rubbed. I've dedicated 2 pipes to Condor since it will ghost a briar, as I'm sure you know.
Thanks for the info on SG Bracken Flake! Is it readily available? I'd love to try it.

Some vendors will sell you a pound of tobacco which doesn't come factory sealed in the way I describe, I've had varied experiences with several vendors, you may wish to call in advance of placing the order to anticipate how it will be sent.
