Totally agree. I'm sitting on 1.5 lbs right now and given my latest attack, I decided to pass on this. There will be more. Oh yes there will. :twisted:Frost":l1hp6ado said:I can't really disagree with bill...
That said, it's good enough to make it worth buying when it pops up, which is why I've got a pound of it on the way from P&C. Lol.
Wow. That's never happened to me. I'd be pissed.hornalum":gulhuwld said:My order came in over the weekend with 2 of the 3 tins being popped open already. I haven't ordered much tinned tobacco online...is that very common? I wanted to age these so I'll have to go the mason jar route.
I've never seen that before. I might give them a call and figure out what's up.Dave_In_Philly":8gkmpl3b said:Wow. That's never happened to me. Never seen that before. I'd be pretty upset. Shoot them an e-mail or give them a call. If you intend to keep the tins, just give them a heads up. Otherwise, insist on a refund.hornalum":wxcoqz9o said:My order came in over the weekend with 2 of the 3 tins being popped open already. That's what I'm thinking too. P&C offered to replace the open tins but I declined since the tobacco wasn't dried out. It's good to know they offered though.Kyle Weiss":lfweg2n9 said:I've been reading about the inconsistency of vacuum-sealed tins, and it makes me wonder if shipping through varying elevations might pop already-weak seals.
Just a theory. It wouldn't do much good for a seller to knowingly (or ignorantly) ship out open tins. It's not something they'll "get away with." I'm pretty sure they'll make it right.
This bit gave me a belly-laugh. Thank you. :lol:Simple Man":sdo2jqy6 said:LOL It's Samuel Gawith: Full Virginia Flake... I'll have to look into that tobac and see how it compares to McC's offeringsSimple Man":7lxtvswn said:LOL It's Samuel Gawith: Full Virginia Flake... I have actually had a couple of problems with shipments from P&C but each time they made it right, and very quickly. They're customer service far exceeds their quality control.hornalum":ws4fg5gi said:That's what I'm thinking too.
