52F this morning, freezing rain by noon, 22 now and forcast for 5, wind chill bringing it down to minus 12.

Got her a new heater for the gurad shack the other day. I guess she will be testing it out tonight.

Really wish I could! I'm neck deep in projects that need to hit the post soon though, so I'll have to pass and think warm thoughts. I do plan on a trip out that way though.... I'll take a rain check!

OK, after an all nighter of tending fires, I got to collect all the chips and crackers I had laid out to freeze dry and rebagged them. It's just now -1 and warming up in the sun. Thankfully the solar panels didn't collect a lot of snow, so clean up was a breeze!

After lunch it's time for a smoke, a walkabout, and chopping big pieces into little pieces of wood for tonight's burn. Then a nap. Got a chicken and it's in the pot simmering for tonight's 'Fowl Sloppy Joes'...

Oh my no, I can't do that....

Bought and paid for IPAs, from the warm grocery store shelf to the beer cooler to keep the others from freezing.....

It didn't help!

14 degrees C in Seoul. Very strange. Was walking around in a shirt looking at all the down filled parkas for sale in the shop windows. Glad I didnt need one.

Great thing about Western Oregon...two days ago we had 4" of snow on our deck and the roads were 1" of solid ice. Yesterday it ALL melted off and today it's nearly 50 F and clear.

Time to go to the store for Christmas grub-n-goodies.

It's a sunny 52 degrees here in NC. Taking advantage of the warmer weather and enjoying my pipes outside on the front porch most of the day. That's in between working on a sheath for one of my knives.

It was supposed to be mid fifties here today, still waiting... I spent a good deal of time in the forest this morning after feeding the petting zoo, marked some good prospects for fire wood and collected a few choice pieces for crafting.

Still brrrrr. I think I might be fighting a cold today, as I can't seem to get warm...

About 4" on the grounds and snowing right now. Looks like I won't be going anywhere today. Oh well, we'll have a white Christmas!
