I love ordering from that vendor. I sold many of my hand carved tampers on consignment through there for a number of years. Besides...it allows me that fun personal fiction of saying my special tobaccos come from Mars. And also, he’s always been one of the better resources for Gawith blends.

I don't smoke a lot of Rattray's; however, I do enjoy Marlin Flake on occasion. CFairmorn's "Lancers Slices" is one of my absolute favs!! Love that smoky Latweed aroma!! FTRPLT

This is my first purchase of Rattray's. I've only opened the Rapparee, so far I think it's keeper. I vac'd the lancers for later. The Marlin will probably get cracked next month. Both of these Rattray's have been on my list for some time.

I've always liked Lancers Slices. My problem is my stash is in Arizona and I'm in Indiana. LOL. I have always had good luck when purchasing from Mars. Use to get my snuff from him until you couldn't purchase through the mail. Thankfully the children are much safer now.

Its my understanding that they basically passed a national law that outlaws the sale of tobacco based snuff through the internet and the right to ship it through the USPS. Their reasoning was it was to protect children under the age of 21. Apparently it was an "epidemic" of kids using and buying snuff. I guess I live a sheltered life because I always thought snuff was an acquired taste and in my 65+ years I've never seen a kid use snuff. You can still go and buy from a shop in person.
