Pfft Shuffleboard with your grandma when you're 13 definitely is way better than curling. What more joy than spending an afternoon with an aged woman when you have just hit your prime with the ladies your own age. There's excitement.

Ha! I was lucky. My grandma sent me to go with my grandpa to his poker games. Old war stories, cigar and pipe smoke and learning the cards! That's where it's at! Of course, there weren't any girls at all, so there's that...

Well...think of it this way...the "girls" that would have been at an event like your grandaddy's poker game would NOT have been of an age, disposition or physiognomy that you would have appreciated, so there's THAT!

Well, there was the one time a lady police officer showed up in a short skirt (odd uniform for a job like that) and gran'pappy and the boys had me go rake leaves... but other than that...

We have a MIA pilot, I dont think we will hear from him, but I'll give him the full time allotment just to be fair. Ceasefire will be called in about 10 mins.

aaaaaaand time! Ceasefire in effect, please hold your bombing runs for day 3 until the new target board is up.

When the board is up BH you can bomb, time might vary a little, but I'm trying to get them posted at 12 midnight my time for consistency, which should be 7 eastern yep. But wait for the board in case it takes me longer.

DAY 2 COMBAT FEED
1 [12:08 am] EC Outlaw is first in the fight today, hitting G10 with a huge explosion. Sadly, it turned out to be a miss.

2 [12.14 am] GrampaGrossbart takes the fight to J3 and wipes the Musée Jean Moulin off the map. I can't say I'm broken up about it, but that is also a miss.

3 [12.17 am] Blackhorse changes from one extreme of the map to the other, and only goes as far as K1 to drop his bombs for the squadrons twenty third miss in a row.

4 [12:25 am] Tech2576 circles his plane around J3, frustrated that GG beat him to it. In a fit of pique he redirects to L5 and destroys the Paris observatory. But wait! What's this?? A Hit! A Palpable Hit! Tech breaks the long dry spell and gives the squadron its first hit!

5 [12:26 am] Scotties22 decimates midtown H4 with high explosive, but only adds another miss.

6 [12:43 am] DrT999 selects L10 for his next attack, wiping out the Port de Bercy. With a name like that, nobody will miss it… coincidentally that's a miss.

7 [12:44 am] Applying the wisdom of Sun Tzu, Sloppy Joe Hemingway decides to attack future generations of enemies at G1 by wiping out their academy, the École Militaire. Good on you Joe! That's a miss.

8 [12:55 am] MisterE, feeling that the river islands should share in the pain too, he flies straight to F6. By God, that's another hit! Two in a day!

9 [1:04 am] Taharris, bombs K2, another hit! What is going on? Third hit of the day!

10 [1:22 am] kaiser83 lines up on D10, can he make it three hits in a row? No, seems not, that's a miss.

11 [1:30 am] Gravel, still dripping from the previous river splashdown, Gravel goes for a considerably dryer inner city target at G2. Unfortunately he gets the same result, missed.

12 [1:40 am] zjgilbert bombs next to the squadrons first hit in sector L4, but that's a miss… well, it narrows down the target directions I guess...

13 [1:50 am] i.keenum bombs H7, reducing the medieval Collège des Bernardins to dust. Don't you like history Mr Keenum? Well, it is French history, so we'll let you off. Also that's a miss.

14 [2:05 am] Fishfuzz gets the fourth hit of the day with a fearless raid on E3! What a guy!

15 [3:12 am] What is this? Wrath from the sky! Mozjo33 shows us all how it's done with a beautiful strike to F3. According to the hallowed rules of war, I must inform you that the squadron has now hit and killed a 2 square bunker complex in E3/F3. Mozjo33 is now taken off active duty and sent home with the spoils, congratulations Mozjo!

16 [3:37 am] Roogles remains focused and calm, undistracted (it is a word) by the numerous columns of smoke now rising from the city. He bombed G8, but only added a miss.

17 [6:30 am] George Kaplan targets H6, and although it's a miss, he does appear to destroy the Arab World Institute. Umm… right. Ok then. Moving on.

18 [11:10 am] Cigar2you strikes a blow to the heart of the Parisian psyche by bombing Notre Dame! No, wait, wait. That's Notre Dame travel agents. Still, I'm sure it upset somebody. That's a miss.

19 [12:34 pm] idbowman sends destruction heading C5's way, with nary a care for the Parisian Opera house smoten below. Very enjoyable to watch, but a miss.

20 [1:13 pm] Rob_In_MO, missing in action until this moment zooms across the city and bombards G3 with imperial might. That's a miss - or we are meant to think it's a miss. Only Imperial stormtroopers are so precise…

21 [1:53 pm] Dave_In_Philly Would have had a hit on F6, but was beaten to it by MisterE. Instead he has to settle for a miss at his redirected coordinates of L12.

22 [6:22 pm] UberHuberMan another MIA pilot sheepishly shows himself above the target city, bombing the directly opposite pole from the previous pilot at A1. A1 might mean good, but not in this case, that's a miss.

Bombs deployed: 22
Missed: 17
Hit: 5
Targets eliminated: 1
Coordinate backups used: 2

Day two has seen a marked improvement in bombing, with the notable kill of one of the harder-to-find bunker complexes! Mozjo33 struck the killing blow and earned the reward, as a winner he is no longer able to continue to bomb, but he is free to lounge back and advise the other pilots how to do it properly.

The target board currently stands as follows:

Day 3 Bombing is now open, good luck!
