Terrible Question

Friends like that are hard to come by. Luckily I have a few.

There have been some people that the first time I met them, I didn't care for the first impression I got of them. But after working with most of them, we've become friends or at least respected each other enough to keep it civil. There are some people, though, that I can't stand to look at, but I know why I can't stand them.

At one of the places where I volunteer, there's a guy who is a retired university history professor. (Ph.D.) He's congenial, relatively friendly, etc., but he seems to believe that his opinion on any subject has more validity than anyone else's. I cannot stand the guy.
