I don't care about the animation, it's the music!

This version of Duke of Prunes is just...well, I was going to say "awesome", but even though it fits, that doggone adjective has been so badly abused that it has almost no utility any more. It always sounds like hyperbole.

But how about awe-inspiring?

If the only version of Duke of Prunes you've ever heard is the original (vocal) track on the Absolutely Free album, then you've only heard the rendition that was a deliberate quasi-operatic caricature of itself. This instrumental version shows the tune for the genius work that it is.

WARNING: Your musical horizons are in serious danger of expanding if you listen to this stuff. Your musical IQ might even increase. That could be dangerous. If you're happy with three-chord blooz, slowly back away from the Play button and go find some Joe Bonermassabate to listen to. It's safer.
