I'm enjoying HH Pure Virginia in a Scottie Piersel pencil shank pot. It's a step above most Virginias I've purchased or blended. @Zeno Marx I wish it lingered in my beard like your Sutliff, though my beard is fairly short now. I'll change my exhale technique 🙂

Prince Albert in a MM General with forever stem topped with a little SWR. Mid day break from deck work to let the heat subside, since it's about 90F. Water to drink and some of those bergs like Jim. I like to read and do pipe stuff when I smoke, so just decided on and bought a Kaywoodie 13B with intact stinger. Not sure the vintage, but its a prime grain with that mark in block letters. I couldn't resist an author shape KW.

Smoking a Jeantet bent apple with Russ` pirates cove and a decaf coffee. The heat wore me out today,so I reheated yesterdays BBQ Leftovers for dinner . we about half of what was left, the 3 dogs ate the rest. Our Newfoundland is very funny, she does not like Hotdogs. LOL!

A quarter of a bowl left of year 2013 Capstan Blue Ready Rubbed in a straight smooth brown 1933-1945 Comoy’s patent Grand Slam 127 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Watching the Braves-Guardians game. Been a busy, sad day as I lost a very close friend to cancer today.

Smoking a Pete Lestrade with MB 7 seas royal and a decaf k-cup by Community coffee,Probably the Last smoke of the day.
Jim, Sorry to hear you have lost a friend, It`s hard,Try to remember the good times, not the loss.
God bless

Relaxing after a four half pound cheeseburgers and chips dinner with a slice of pecan pie and a small bowl of vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. I've about a quarter of a bowl left of Mac Baren HH Burley Flake in a 1979 smooth straight dark brown Loewe Army 910 billiard with a silver cap military mount and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Saddened to hear of the passing of your friend Jim.

Late evening smoke featuring a mix of OJK and little of PS Cube Cut to soften the flavor a bit, not feeling the old guy’s unbridled crustiness tonight. In a no-name Italian briar. One of the very first briars that I purchased so many years ago. This thing belongs in a museum, but hey, it still smokes like a champ.

Took my riding buddy and his wife out to dinner for his birthday. He is my pardner and best friend. Now having some 5 year old PS LBF in a Sav Estella Non Pareil. Forgot I had this but discovered it hiding in the cupboard a couple of weeks ago. Was dried leaf crunchy so had to rehydrate it. Not a bad smoke but will never be in my top 10. Only have maybe an oz left. Should send it off to Zeno, lol.

Just finished a salad and leftover chicken and we're sitting outside, no rain for a change! I'm smoking a Rob Roy filled with GLP Kensington, it's keeping the mosquitoes away for now.
Maybe I should order more Kensington. The LBF is not keeping the gnats away. I think they actually like it, lol.

The Charring Cross should do it! Back in the 80's I stopped into Peretti's looking for a tobacco and when they found out I moved to NH they asked if I wanted a tobacco to keep the mosquitoes away. It sounded like a great idea and I took their advice. It was a Lat bomb and I had never smoked anything with Latakia at that point. It did keep the mosquitoes away but didn't have the sweetness my aromatic had so I never bought it again!
