A third of a bowl left of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. Fed my cats, and three ferals, though I had to separate the feeding spots and stand guard. Abner the Eager wouldn't eat unless I stood with him, and he proceeded to lay on my foot as he ate. Guess he needed the reassurance.

I tried to smoke some duck legs for dinner using the Char-Broil smoker, the meat was tasty but getting through the skin and connective tissue was impossible! Time to sit by the fan with GLP Charring Cross in a Rob Roy with a glass of Lambrusco.
I was trying to envisage, filling a Pipe with some duck legs 🤣🤣🤣

Good morning,
Smoking a Vauen bent pot with Capt. black original blend with an 8 o`clock k-cup, Thanks for the replies on the Pete hansom. I am going to look at others from Peterson in the Sherlock Holmes series.

Smoking a Pete Strand with MB 7 seas regular blend and a mug of freshly ground and brewed costa rican coffee. I ordered this coffee from Amazon yesterday afternoon and it was on my doorstep this morning at 6 am! I got copper moon coffee, its ok,but the Starbucks CR coffee IMHO is a bit better.
Ranger, What brand are you buying?

Good Morning!
I finished my first pipe, GLP Charring Cross in a Rob Roy, along with most of my cup of coffee while dealing with technical issues on my phone and getting a few things off the to do list. Currently I have GLP Kensington in a Pride and it's time to brew another cup of coffee!

I get Kirkland brand from Costco. Have to buy it online as they don't carry it in our store any longer.

Good morning guys. My go to Urban Cowboy in a Butz Choquin magnum bent brandy with CR morning coffee. Another hot day here. Praying for rain. EZ, we went to Costa Rica maybe 6 years ago. The coffee down there was so excellent, never had a bad cup. After we got home we were in Costco one day and I spotted their CR blend so bought a bag. Been drinking it ever since.

Charley,

We have a Braun SCA certified coffee maker that brews 5oz. up to a 50oz pot in increments. The Specialty Coffee Association tests coffee makers to their Gold Standard which means they wet the grounds and pause so the coffee can expand then deliver water at the proper temperature. You can achieve that with a pour over setup or a Chemex. French Presses also make an excellent cup of coffee similar to the cowboy brewing method.

Smoking a Caminetto billiard with Lane LL-7 and a Mc Cafe k-cup. Coffee is my Favorite beverage! I brew my coffee in many ways- french press, Mocca master, old stove top percolator and of course the keurig. I think the coffee is best on the gas stove top,but it takes awhile, french press is messy, but good. Moccamaster is excellent as well. Keurig is fast, but not a great brewer ,but gets the job done... LOL! Yea, I drink a Little coffee.

You guys inspired me with all the conversation about older codger, i.e. "drugstore" pipes. Don't have any Grabows or Yellowbowls but do have 2 vintage Kaywoodies. Dug out my best one, a 50s vintage Relief Grain straight billiard. Having some CH in it. Don't smoke it often because although it is probably a Dunhill 4 size I don't get a very long smoke from it and I prefer larger bowled pipes.

I found a 3 cup French press tucked away that should be fine. Hopefully I can get the stovetop roaster to do a half pound of one of the eight 1 lb samplers they're sending, rest the roasted beans overnight, and have them in the press tomorrow.

I want to see if HH Pure Virginia will go with a different roast because I didn't like the taste with Starbucks. That was its one failing in my eyes.

Passing the quarter mark on this bowl of early 2000s Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
