Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am smoking Hearth & Home AJ’s Vaper in a pre-1952 Sutliff Falcon 372 (made by Comoy’s) smooth light brown straight bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

At the pipe club meeting, I opened a tin of MacBaren's Virginia No. 1 from the 1960's and we all had a bowl of it - it was excellent! Also had a bowl of G&H Black Irish Twist and some Sutliff Pipe Force.

That pipe club sounds great! I love all those blends you mentioned.

I'm putting together my coffee roasting station and smoking Wilke Peanut butter in a bearded MM Great Dane.

Almost a third of the way through this bowl of D&R Penhooker Silver in a straight smooth brown undated pre-Republic Peterson Shamrock 263 Canadian with a nickel band and a tapered black p-lip stem. Working and listening to Nightbeat from my radio collection.

Now smoking first release Watch City Rhythm & Blues in a straight smooth brown 1920s-30s Sasieni patent 8 dot Marborough lovat with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Finished the art on this Betty and Veronica story, and will spend a bit of time filling in all the black areas. Listening to The Jack Benny Program from my radio collection.

Didn't get all the black areas finished, but that's enough for this morning. I'm passing the quarter mark on this bowl of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. Still have stuff to do. Gonna check on the ferals in a few minutes.

Nearing the last quarter of this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 2015 Basil Meadows Bing Crosby Merchant Service replica with a smooth straight thin shank, aluminum band and black ebonite stem. This was the first one Basil made. This'll do it for me today.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of early 2000s Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

Waking up with some Maxwell House coffee and a bowl of John Patton Dark Horse in a Cayuga Rhodesian. One more day of CERCLA training today and then field work on Friday!

What the heck is CERCLA?

Calico Frog in a CAO bent brandy meerschaum. Pretty sure I burned the roast last night. I was just sitting there listening to the second crack when I should have been putting it in the colander. I'll pour myself a cup at 1130 when it's had 12 hours to vent, and see. A nice even dark dark brown.

Good morning. Haebar, sorry about the double post above. Damn phone. You only need reply once, lol.
Waking up with CS Choctaw in a Sav Hercules 606EX and CR coffee.
Got an unexpected early call this morning. Ordered a gun off of Gun Broaker, supplied by a shop in MN. Had it sent to my local FFL but Fedex sent an email, said unable to deliver. Drove down to the shop yesterday and found out the older gentleman who runs it is taking off the whole month of July to go fishing, lol. So it has to go back to MN and get reshipped to another FFL. Luckily one of my retired Ranger buddies is an FFL and can receive the gun. Cost an extra $20 and will be another week but at least I will get it.

Good Day!
Wife's day off, she did the chores and I slept in! When I got up she made me coffee in a travel cup and I took that and the rest of last night's Casbah to the local box store. Now that everything's put away and we did a bit of weeding, I decided to continue with another fill of Drucquer Casbah in the same Rob Roy while a pot of coffee brews.

How many seconds into the second crack do you think it went? With my popper, I go no more than 30 seconds, but a stovetop might be hotter. I used to go by this sight and color guide. You might have stage 13 espresso beans, but bet they'll be tasty nonetheless.
