I am smoking my Pete Lestrade with some Casey Jones/Vanilla blend. Going to be a busy day,Back Dr. this morning & then working afternoon/evening. Supposed to be hot and humid here in NY.

How's the new Pete doing? Still gurgling?

Brief sidestep from my old pipe/ new tobacco journey this morning with CH in a MM general cob. Strong costa rican coffee. Rain has cooled things off nicely but brought out more dang flies.

Not far from finishing this bowl of circa year 2000 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink on this very hot and humid day.

CS black & tan in a 70s Sav blasted bent bulldog. With my 3rd cup o joe. Sun coming out, birdies everywhere. With all the rain lately the hills have really greened up. Reminds me of Ireland.

Half way through this bowl of Ken Byron Ventures Carry On (Merchant Service Pipes) in a brown straight smooth Paul Perri billiard with a black acrylic tapered stem. Working on a review of this blend.

Just finished a small bowl of Neuminster 400 navy flake in a Stanwell semi bent billiard. Can't say I really care for this one. A bit hot and bitey without much flavor. No match for PS LNF.

Enjoyed a terrific stack of pancakes (eight) and a plate of ham and eggs along with a peach for lunch. I'm a quarter of the way through this bowl of Ken Byron Ventures Keep Calm (Merchant Service Pipes) in a smooth unfinished brown slight bend 2015 Savinelli 320KS author with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This Sav has been a test pipe ever since I got it. More ice water and bergs for my drink while I work on a review of this blend.

Could be. Are you a wet smoker? Some people are.

Now smoking Ken Byron Ventures Verg 21 in a straight smooth brown 1930s (Comoy’s) Lions Head 123 pot with a black tapered vulcanite stem. Time for another set of walks before the Braves-Reds game.

Trying Blue Ridge Special from Watch City Cigar Blue & Pipe in a James Upshall Bent Dublin P while prepping for dinner. This has a lovely red virginia in this. Nice soft latakia. Tasty.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken and sugar snap peas dinner with a small scoop of Dutch chocolate ice cream for dessert. I've about a third of a bowl left of Watch City Beta Test Blend #1 in a 2013 straight black sandblasted Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Baker Street with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite fish tail stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

My own concoction, Cult BRM 50/50 with SWR. Would come up with a name for it, Sir Walters Red Blood or similar, but won't be buying more. The BRM just isn't worth the money, but this blend is smoking okay in a Pete system full bent pot. Black tea aside.

While sitting here smoking a big commotion in the open area and doves flying off everywhere. Couldn't figure out why, then I saw him. Hard to see from my lousy phone cam but if you look close you can see the Peregrine Falcon in the middle of the pic.

Trying Quint's Own from Watch City for the 1st time in a Mountbatten (Charatan 2nd) Dublin with saddle bit. Nice cool smoke. Sipping a NA beer and water while reading a book and listening to some jazz (MM&W).

Back to my old standby, Urban Cowboy in a Lorenzo Old Vic giant. Just love this blend with morning coffee. Mellow and smooth and good burley taste.
