Shy Stripesy was here. She ran when I opened the door, but not far, and I finally got a decent photo of her. She was very curious what I was saying when I was talking her. She hid under the deck when I came out with food, but I did get one more photo of her. After three years of being fed by me, she's still afraid, poor girl.

Good morning BoBs. Started my day with Hobbits Weed in a Sav Hercules 606EX with CR coffee but got interrupted because I had to go with wifey to walk the dogs. She usually takes Charlie and Marty out first then comes back for Molly and Augie but today Molly and Augie woke up early so all 4 wanted to walk, lol. Just got back with Molly and Augie so picking up the Hobbits Weed 1/2 way through. Heading up to the casino this afternoon to see if my luck holds up. Won $120 last week and my food credits are up to $80 so we can go have a nice lunch tomorrow. Have a great day everyone.

A third of the way through this bowl of year 2012 St. James Flake in a straight 1968 Dunhill Tanshell octagonal paneled EK F/T billiard with a square shank and tapered black vulcanite stem. This will get me close to dinner time.

We let Tomato the Brave in to eat so he'd get his food. He decided to chew and fight the rug while he had a chance. A seven year old cat who still thinks he's a kitten.

Smoking a rusticated Pete Strand with Stanwell vanilla and a mug of Ethiopian coffee. The coffee is very good,it has a winy, fruity taste that I am not used to. I am not used to drinking my coffee black either. LOL!

Opened my first tin of Peterson 3 Ps and am trying it in my best smoking pipe, a straight willard pot shaped. It's a very good tobacco for only being one bowl in.

On a side note I will say that I am not a fan of excessive packaging for any product, it seems wasteful and inefficient so can someone explain to me why peterson uses their largest can for 3ps, which is a 1 inch cube lol? My only guess is that they are trying to rub in our face that they could sell 250g tins of their other blends, but think it's funny to only sell 50g tins and then put their most compact to tobacco in the larger ones lol.

Just finished smoking 2021 Watch City Simply VOriental in a straight smooth medium brown 1930s Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Shy Stripesy was waiting at my back door, and after talking to her a bit, I went outside and she actually let me get a couple of feet from her for the first time in the three+ years I've been feeding her. Maybe more progress would have been made and maybe not, but all was undone by a jealous, territorial Tomato the Brave going over to her. Stripesy ran under the deck. So I brought Tomato inside to eat, and a couple of minutes later, Stripesy came back to eat. I talked to her through the screen door window for a while, and tried going outside after she ate most of the food. She was less receptive this time, and much more skittish than the first time, and went under the deck again. I wish Tomato had minded his own business because I felt a potential breakthrough was in the works. Hope I get another chance.
