I slept in this morning, it's a sunny day with the afternoon temp forecast at 80°F. I'm starting off with C&D Chocolate Cavendish in an MM 5th Ave along with a cup of coffee. It's time to get my pickup registered and inspected.

I finished the first pipe, the Chocolate Cavendish is too moist to pack well. Now I'm smoking Sutliff Virginia Slices in an MM Morgan.

Good evening everyone
A very very late start for me today, as we just got home, after a busy day out, fulfilling various appointments and a little shopping. So I'm eagerly grabbing my 1911 Henry Tongue, and filling it with some Hobbit Weed for a much needed, and soothing smoke. Then it's a roll down to the village, for a meal and a pint or two. I hope everyone is having a great day

A wonderful sunny crisp Fall day here, and I am having a well dried bowl of GLP Robusto in an MM diplomat bent apple. The drying has made this a bit sharp, and it does not taste good with coffee, so water it is for a drink.

Passing the half way mark of this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching Mad Dog Russo.

Gold Star Papua New Guinea, neat, is my drink. Watching Bat Masterson with Sleepy Suzy by my side. All the ferals except for the absent Abner the Eager ate a while ago.

Lovely weather here in the Ozarks. Going to the city to pickup my lover on Wednesday. We’re planning a trip into rural Kansas to just meander and visit small towns. One such town will be Nicodemus settled by black refugees of the civil war. If we only travel 50 miles a day so be it. If a Kansas blizzard snows us in a motel for a week- PERFECT. I’m smoking this “one piece at a time” mm cob with Country Gent bowl and PAView attachment 22481

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2014 Dan Tobacco Hamborger Veermaster in a smooth straight brown 1950 Dunhill 48 bulldog group 4 root briar with a black vulcanite fish tail saddle stem. Had a great conversation with my buddy Pete. We talked baseball, history and pipe smoking.

I did a consulting job for a friend and even though I told him I wouldn't accept any money he wasn't having it.
He got together with my son and got me these as a thank you.
I'm trying to collect a different pipe stye every year. This year is Bulldogs which I didn't care for looks wise at first. Until I smoked one. Love love love.
Next year is Pokers.
So fellow BoBs which pipe should I fire up first?

There is not a tourist destination that I know of in Kansas. That’s the beauty of this trip. Blue hiways only. Get into the bowels of it. There is many historical places that we’re researching. One would be the site of the Clutter family murders in 1959 in Holcomb, it’s way out there nearly Colorado. The perps were the last two hangings in the US I believe.
