Nightcap: EGR in my Rossi Lumberman Sitter with Bulleitt bourbon chaser. Never had bourbon before this, mellow character compared to scotch but not as ephemeral as cognac.

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of Wilke Wall Street w/o perique in a smooth light brown quarter bend 1928-1931 KBB Drinkless Kaywoodie Synchrosystem patent Rock Ambera 7209 yachtsman with a tapered rock ambera stem. And then I enjoyed some low calorie snacking. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am near the last quarter of this bowl of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. Been chatting with a good friend.

Good morning,
Smoking a Pete SH Squire,PS b&b 23, mug of DD coffee. I am trying to get myself together to go to work- the mind is willing, but the body is weak. LOL!
I feel like that every day lol. I'm 50 and I feel like I'm 70. I guess working since I was 11 and full time since 17 is catching up to me.

Awfully wet and cold, with the first forecast of snow on the way tonight. So I'm huddled in front of the fire, filling a Petersons Ashford XL17 with St. Bruno.
A glass of Jack Daniels honey, sits not to far from my right arm. Its for medicinal purposes only you understand. However I must state, it's the one medicine I never argue about taking.
I hope your all having a great day my friends.
Sounds like a fantastic night my friend. I'll be calling you in the next two weeks. When I get my second check from work I'll be putting in an order of some "socks and a scarf".

I picked up an estate pipe on Etsy and I'm trying it out this morning: a Barclay-Rex author with dual bore vulcanite stem, filled with CS Riverboat Queen. I got the pipe for a good price due to a small chip in the stem. I could be quite content with the pipe as is, but I think I'd like to get it restored. If anyone can recommend someone who does pipe restoration (or warn me off of others), kindly send me a PM. Thanks!

Good morning BoB!
Today I had a bowl of SWR regular in my Viking 117.
Now I like SWR regular. I had a pouch of it in a jar and I've been smoking off of it for some months now, It's a tasty blend. I got a new pouch and put it in the jar to top it off. I opened the jar with the new SWR this morning and it smelled strongly of vinnegar, a fantastically strong punch. I load it up and light and the flavor is of strong acidic vinnegar too. Have any of you run into a situation like this? Food and drink taste normal so I'm hesitant to assume my nose and tongue are broken.
Help!

I experienced the exact same thing with a tub of SWR I ordered this summer. Completely soured me on the blend. I will not buy it again.

Starting off my smoking day with a bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Just fed Sleepy Suzy and Tomato the Brave. The others already ate except for the absent Abner the Eager. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Looks like rain is coming.

Fellas, I've seen two threads on other forums filled with the very same complaint. It's a durn shame.

I'm about to try out this new estate pipe that arrived today along with it's friend that I'll smoke tomorrow.
A nicely grained Calibano model 810 filled with C&D Engine #99.
I've battened down all the hatches and did my shopping. Now I wait for the cyclone bomb to arrive.
Looking on the internet for a little orange kitten for the farm as I work on the forestry plan. Indoor day today.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and a delightful conversation with an old friend (fellow piper, too), and just finished smoking year 2020 C&D Virginia Flake in a straight medium brown 1922-1937 Irish Free State era Peterson 222 bullcap with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Gold Star Hawaiian Kona Extra Fancy, neat, is my drink. I think Tomato the Brave has decided that my feet are his new pillow.
