Pipes used yesterday both need the bottom of the bowls raised, one of those round-to-it chores that needs doing.
They end up producing quite a bit of a wet dottle if the tobacco is on the damp side starting out.
Not a real problem though, simply scrape the ash from the top and dump the unburnt dottle out and aside to dry for later use.

That's what this day started with and I impressed myself with the taste and kick!
Dried dottle comprised of G&H Scotch Mixture and Bright CR mixed together in a Brebbia churchwarden provided a heckuva wake-up smoke!!
Strong earthy taste, quick nicotine delivery while remaining smooth all the way.

On my way out to the shed for some PA in a cob now.

Getting ready for a short nap.. Had a bowl of MB Navy Flake in my MM Pride Cob.. Then later had a nice smoke of SG BBF in my Italian Oom Paul.. Love Naps..

SG St james Flake out of my Soren geometric sitter. I may have to buy a few lbs of this one I think it's better than fvf

IRC Virginia Flake out of my Savinelli Iwan Ries 150th Anniversary...I'm melting into my chair. I'm not generally a guy to dedicate a pipe to a specific blend, but I've certainly got a match made in heaven here.

They still had it in 15min ago.. Good Luck..
I thank you!

I rarely think to check IRC as they tend to be higher in price than most other vendors.
Bracken Flake is the next one for me to try from SG. Of course, IRC is out of stock on that one as are the other NA shops.

Patience.

Well then. I do how some ever have a flake of 1792 out to dry.
Should be ready so I'm off to enjoy that in a Pete 317.

Mid-afternoon bowl of Embarcadero in a Pietenpauw. The day started off rainy & has cleared beautifully. Busy with Christmas chores.

Whoa, I've never dabbled in this thread, y'all are some real afficionados.

I'm having a tall cob of Half & Half, just making a quick dinner and coffee after another night at work whipped my ***.
