Worked a couple of hours in the backyard cleaning up storm damage and it started to rain. Now sitting on the back porch watching the light rain fall while enjoying Dunhill Mixture 965 (aged 5 months...impressed?) in my Castello Sea Rock Briar XXX bent (lovely pipe and a good argument why spending more than $50 on a pipe is worth every cent), with a glass of iced tea next to me.

Dunhill Nightcap in a 50's era Kirsten. It's a smaller pipe but it does wonderful with English blends

Bayou Morning in a MM cob enjoyed on the dock of my parents' home on the Lafayette River in Norfolk, watching the tide fall and thinking I might "go tourist" and hit the Ocean View Fishing pier later tonight as the tide begins to return.
I went last Friday morning and found that the surest way to guarantee a bite was to light my pipe. Never failed. No action, light pipe, get a bite. Never did finish a bowl.
