So much to discuss from today's messages, some of my own, too.

@Zippo I am sorry to heard you have flooding, again. Last week we had abnormal storm activity here in Manitob and the Southern part of the province received +/- 8 inches of rain over several days. Typically we might get that over the course of the entire summer. Keep you feet dry, eat chicken soup, think warm thoughts and get well.

@EZONSLOW The comfort of pipe smoking as a ritual/habit is undeniable. I have often simply enjoyed the act of smoking when I could not enjoy the flavour or aroma of my pipe tobacco. Rest well, recharge yourself, and embrace the small pleasures.

@Swede I rarely see chipmunks here in Manitoba. But I did see a largish Garter snake today, 20-24 inches. They are migrating to Narcisse, Manitoba to their local hibernaculum. Narcisse is quite famous for this phenomenon and also spring emergence.

There is some incredible footage if you can bear with the schlocky presenter. It helps to turn down the sound.

Today was my father's birthday so I went out to the farm to pay my respects. I go for Father's Day and his birthday to have a smoke and think things over, that's where I saw the Garter snake. I shared a blend of Velvet and CH in my Brigham Voyageur bent apple with him. I'm home now, have eaten dinner and am smoking some Byzantium in my Rossi Canadian sitter, Dad preferred Old Chum and Old Port. He wasn't much for Latakia or Turkish. It was a good day for me, please excuse the enormous post.

Passing the first quarter of this bowl of year 2004 Edgeworth Slices in a straight sandblasted black billiard 2013 PSF POY Kaywoodie with an amber colored tapered lucite stem. Had a busy and great day and night. I'd tell you folks how much I ate, but you'd either feel inferior or shake your head for several possible, various reasons. Some may even be valid? :) Home now watching the Braves-Mets game that I DVR'd. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Near the last third of this bowl of year 2022 KBV Mr. Christian's Haunted Virginia 2022 in a straight, black sandblasted 1980s Comoy’s Mark-2 G * 6 (4) bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Been raining off and on all day, but the thunderstorms showed up a couple of hours or so ago. I finally got Daisy the Feral Princess in come out from under the deck and go into the house a few minutes ago. She's eating now. Harry the Hairy and Tomato the Brave were waiting for us when we came home. I fed Harry outside, and Tomato ate plenty inside, and is snoozin' on m'lady's chair. Harry's probably under he deck. Didn't see Abner the Eager at all.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am near the half way mark of this bowl of Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a smooth medium bend terracotta Peterson POY 2023 X160 464/1100 military mount egg with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. With any luck, I'll end the day with this smoke.

Good morning,
Smoking a Pete Baker street,Capt black original blend, large mug of Horton`s coffee. Earlier this morning ,I got an e-mail that I had won a hand made french Wessex freehand pipe on e-bay. I placed the bid over a week ago and totally forgot about it! It appears to be in great condition and was inexpensive , I was the only bidder!

Half way through this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Fed all the ferals except for Abner the Eager. My cats ate, too. No rain, but the skies are cloudy. Hope I can get at least one set of walking reps in.
