Good Morning!
This morning was the coolest of the season, I put on a jacket to do the outdoor chores. Now I'm enjoying GLP Westminster in a bent MM Apple Diplomat along with a cup of coffee, as usual.

Back from my brother's, took my Bones Dublin and some Velvet. Mowed his lawn and cleaned some pruning tools using his ultra-sonic cleaner. Huge winds today, I can only imagine the debris and wind-trash I will find on the course Monday.

I'm up and enjoying my Breakfast of Champions. I miss using this image. I will be doing some reshoots once the course closes and I don't need the camera there.

We've got a big beautiful blue sky here in Central Oregon today. As the winter approaches, we'll get months of uninterrupted clouds so I'm savoring this weather before it's gone.

Ran some errands with a bowl of Sutliff Maple Shadows II in a Peterson XL02

Almost a third of the way through this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed all the ferals except for the absent Abner the Eager. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

On a full day of NFL football I filled a bent MM Missouri Pride with C&D Star of the East and once this coffee is done I'll switch to fortified wine.

Just found my Pete 302 with DGT of Steamworks in it. It's smoking, but think I'll top it off with something.

It's an Indian Summer day in the Bluegrass, but very pleasant with low humidity and a breeze. Yesterday goodies arrived from Steve Laug at rebornpipes. First up is this NOS 1980 Peterson smooth 102 Silver Mounted Army pipe with vulcanite p-lip stem. I'm smoking Watch City Rouxgaroux.

The other pipe that arrived is a NOS Peterson 312 smooth standard system pipe with vulcanite p-lip stem. I don't know how to date this pipe, but the box and insert advertisement seem to be of a similar age, so it may be from the 80s. But this Peterson model was the first pipe I purchased almost 40 years ago at Drucquer & Sons. I'm smoking Arango Balkan Supreme.

Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast with a golden delicious apple on the side. I'm almost half way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a 1999 smooth brown medium bend Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Baskerville with a sterling silver band and black vulcanite p-lip stem. Giving the 4AB Natural a day of rest. Gold Star Jamaican Estate Reserve, neat, is my drink. Watching the Phillies-Mets game.

Now smoking year 2016 Peter Heinrichs Special Curly in a straight smooth brown 1950s The Saint James London Pipe (Comoy’s second) 185M billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Another game, another pipe. I just loaded a bent MM Washington Rob Roy with GLP Westminster. Watching the Packers vs. Rams and sipping on a glass of Cream Sherry.

Caught up on mowing now, so a bowl C&D Habana Daydream with some of their dry Turkish izmir on top to kindle i an MM Pride raw cob with forever stem.

The missus has joined me outside. I'm smoking MB Mixture: Scottish in a Peterson Dublin Edition 999 with nickel band and vulcanite fishtail stem.

Close to finishing this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. The Phillies and Mets really dislike each other.


The shy orange scamper, now named Ringo, sure has grown into a beautiful boy. He's the brother of the cats of today's birthday fella, @Balisong . Happy birthday, buddy!

Back from lunch with Mom, difficult because the need to move to a more manageable accommodation is at hand. She isn't dependent but day to day property responsibilities overwhelm her and she lives too far away for my brother or me to make daily visits. Had my Bones Dublin with Velvet after lunch.
