Relaxing after a wonderful salad, sword fish steaks and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm not far from finishing this bowl of KBV Dread Planet 2023 in a straight smooth brown 1920s (Comoy’s) Lions Head 123 pot with a black tapered vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching the Padres-Dodgers game.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Blue Flake in a smooth dark brown post-WWII Comoy’s Grand Slam 340 patent billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Fed all the ferals. After Abner the Eager ate, he hid under the kitchen able so he wouldn't be bothered by the other cats. Such a sweet, gentle soul. Getting ready to clean a few pipes.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am smoking year 2012 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Near the first third of this bowl of year 2018 D&R Windsail in a 2018 full bend smooth natural Peterson Sherlock Holmes Lestrade with a silver band and a black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem. I heard a noise outside, and saw that Tomato the Brave wanted in to eat. He ate his usual share of wet food though I think he wants more of it. He's eating dry food at the moment. So is Daisy the Feral Princess.

Now smoking 1990s Edgeworth Ready Rubbed in a medium bend dark brown 2017 Don Warren 17 smooth straight grain rough top Dublin with a multi-brown cumberland stem and ferrule in the military mount style. This blend is the only one this pipe has had. Daisy the Feral Princess is snoozin' by my feet. Tomato the Brave is by my left side. Abner the Eager is snoozin' on top of my chair. I'm surrounded!!! :)

Watching Mad Dog Russo with Abner the Eager snoozin' by my side. Ice water and bergs is my drink. All of the ferals have eaten.

SWMBO'd sister and family have been visiting for the last several days. Haven't had any time to do anything here except glance in now and then!! Been puffin' on the 'baccy weed quite a bit though. I'm finishing off several different small-quantity jarred blends such as (all old and well-aged) BS-005, PS Proper English, P&C's Larry's Blend, Capstan Gold Navy Flake, and LJ Perretti's Tashkent. Smoked all of these in a variety of Comoy's, Astley's, Boswell's, Ashtons, and GBD briars plus a few cobs. My brother-in-law says he doesn't smoke anymore...He did however, enjoy puffing on my stash of well-aged cigars!!!! I'll get caught up later this afternoon!! FTRPLT
