Nice long smoke of Cowboy Coffee in a MM general..would like a second bowl but no time as I have to meet a buddy at the gun range in 45 minutes.
Yep, put it in a cob, lol.Carter Hall in a Royal Guard bent pot. Tastes like crap, must be the pipe.
Haebar, like that pipe holder. Where did you acquire it?Smoking a bowl of GH Kendal Dark in a Comoy's Guildhall billiard.
I don't remember exactly, seems like it was Ebay.Haebar, like that pipe holder. Where did you acquire it?
Wow, that is some nosewarmer. Don't think I could smoke that, would probably singe my stache.
Really wanted some cowboy coffee this morning but trying to ration my stash till I can order more, so xmas spice in the Lorenzo giant. Almost broke down on the second bowl but resisted. Rivendell in the new estate Pete straight pot.
Oops, forgot the pic.Celebrating wife's BD with mimosas and blueberry scones. Pete Rosslare packed with McB plum cake for after. Trying to emulate Sid's great pics. Don't think I have the artistic touch that he does, lol.
Not quite up to Sid's standards without the lovely backdrop of Greece, but . . . maybe one of those awesome Prescott sunsets with the pipe in the foreground? That would do it!Oops, forgot the pic.
Sutliff Voodoo Queen in a meerschaum bowl Falcon.
First pipe in several days as I've been under the weather. Interesting that with my nasal passages being all dried up from Diphenhydramine that I'm smelling and "tasting" via retrohale different nuances than usual with this blend. The Perique especially prominent today, both pepper and prune/date, also a little more of mocha flake. Makes me wonder if folks living in drier climates like Arizona experience tobaccos differently than those of us from more humid climates. Could account for some of the differences with tobacco reviews. ???
I'll try for one of those soon. Sunset was awesome as we left our favorite steakhouse in Dewey last night. Should have taken a shot. Not quite up to Sid's standards without the lovely backdrop of Greece, but . . . maybe one of those awesome Prescott sunsets with the pipe in the foreground? I switch over to mostly burleys and a few aros that I like. But we are in the mountains so don't suffer the heat you guys have in the valley.I can tell you without question when it gets hot outside like 90 or above, nothing tastes any good. Everything to me loses it's character and is bland and boring. Not worth smoking a pipe when it's like that, and I smoke outside exclusively. Maybe other zoni's have a different experience, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it. So my pipe smoking goes down to zilch for ~5 mo/yr.
Cheers,
RR
