Just finished smoking year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 2002 smooth top, black sandblasted quarter bend military mount Karl Erik Ekstravagant horn with a horn insert in the ferrule and black acrylic stem. Been playing traffic cop with Daisy the Feral Princess and Harry the Hairy so both would eat. Dunno where the other two are.

If you don't want to smoke it, you have a Shofar to bring down any walls that may be in your way.

Another good morning BoB,
This morning I mixed some Sutliff Chocolate Mousse into my Lane Hazelnut to make it more palatable while I smoke through it. It helped! MM cob as usual.
I'm working now while listening to the Charlotte Greenwood OTR show and drinking barley tea.
Yesterday, I made my phone's screen display light in only monochrome black and white. The idea is to make the phone less appealing so I spend less time looking at it and I think it's going okay.

Another beautiful Fall day with increasing leaf color, so celebrating that with a bowl of Bluff Blend in a Savinelli Trevi 320EX. I bought this pipe new, as you can see the finish is suffering. I have tried some carnuba which improves it some. It's like the shiny deep finish has grown dull and dry. It was a hot smoker at first. Oh well, it is still a pipe that provides some good smokes.

I have an old pipe (a sav as well) that the finish is starting to fail. The pipe is 50 years old and has always been a favorite. You can’t notice it at a glance, the color is still there with slight superficial cracks, hard to see but I can feel it. I’ve changed in 50 years I suppose it’s time for the old girl to change as well. I love the pipe we will continue our loving relationship with a bit more in common

Good morning,
Starting my day with a Savinelli 310 ks,Capt black royal blend,Large mug of Horton`s coffee. I had a problem with the bowl coating on this new Sav pipe. Finally after about 30 bowls smoked in it-the weird taste and smell has burned away and it`s smoking normal now. I will still not buy any Savinelli brand new pipes. Sadly, this was an impulse buy (which I rarely do). After the purchase was made I read all of the negative reviews on the bowl coating issue. you live and learn!
That's too bad, because they make some attractive and affordable pipes. That's just another benefit of participating in BoB: learning from others' experiences. I'm glad, however, you've got it smoking properly now.

Starting off my smoking day with a bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Now smoking year 2012 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Last of the day for me after a supper of pork chops and potatoes with a banana bread type dessert that Mrs. Swede made from about 50 fresh figs. It should be quite the energy snack. Having C&D Steamworks in a
Savinelli 815KS Oscar Aged briar, and it is the first time I've smoked this blend in it. The narrower bowl may not be ideal. Drink is water.

Decompressing with Crooner, by C&D, in my Rossi Canadian sitter. I like this blend from the outset, the floral aroma/taste of the deertongue reminds me of garden sage and mint - a very bright flavour It is a departure from the floral notes I find in turkish tobacco which always feels darker and full. I understand that it could ghost my pipe but I can think of worse blends to ghost a pipe with. I will likely dedicate my regular Rossi Canadian to it and Velvet, these two blends have a similar palate for me. I love that it is cube cut, not enough tobaccos are prepared this way, easy to fill and adjust/tamp. I appreciated your review of this Jim, I confess to trying it for its association to Bing Crosby - dubious as that may be. Nontheless, I am pleased with it.
